A canvas of their heritage.

The new headquarters of Ninety One (formerly known as Investec Asset Management) is a truly modern office space reflecting their different perspective. The nine floor establishment is located on Gresham Street in the heart of London.

Spread over the majority of this 120,000 sq ft building, this project showcases novel and challenging joinery, from hand made copper “ropes” in the reception area, to The Terrace staff eatery on the 9th, with it’s incredible views of St Paul’s Cathedral.

One undoubted highlight from this project was the wonderfully designed feature wall depicting Table Mountain in Cape Town, a nod to the company’s South African heritage.

High-quality finishes were utilised throughout, but one highlight is certainly the white gold metal from specialist supplier Anka, utilised on several bespoke doors, planters and the reception desk among others.

Biophilic design is at the forefront of the space, as multiple planters and “living” moss walls provide greenery in almost every space, not only adding a visual element but also bringing proven benefits for employee mental health and productivity.

We were delighted to work on this fantastic project alongside a dedicated supply chain, who delivered an impressive end result whilst navigating the additional challenges created by COVID-19.
