Meet the Team: #3 – Lee Morris, Project Manager

We’re back with a third round of our Meet the Team series, and this time, we’re introducing Lee Morris, our newest Project Manager. Lee entered the construction industry in 2001, and has developed a wealth of knowledge along the way.

Lee’s Story

Lee’s path into construction was somewhat accidental. After his career in car mechanics came to an end, he decided to explore a new industry. He joined his wife’s firm as an estimator, and the rest is history.

Lee’s experience is varied to say the least. He has displayed his own entrepreneurial flair, running his own kitchen and bathroom business alongside a joinery workshop before most recently moving into Project Management.

Despite the demands of his fast-paced role, Lee’s passion for the industry continues to shine through. As he puts it:

“I just love being on-site and watching plain, ordinary rooms and buildings transform into something beautiful.”

Outside of work, Lee leads an equally busy life. With a rigorous training schedule, he is working towards completing a full Ironman triathlon next year.

Lee is also a major advocate for cancer awareness, having recently received the all-clear after battling stage three head and neck cancer himself. After two major robotic surgeries, he has emerged stronger than ever and continues to inspire those around him.

We are excited to see Lee’s journey unfold at Thorpes.
