Marketing & Office Assistant

Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a job with a large amount of freedom, one which will enable you to take on a varied role offering an opportunity to grow with our company. 

As one of the UK’s most successful specialist joinery and finishes contractors we work with world-renowned architects, designers and contractors providing specialist joinery, furniture and finishes for global companies such as Spotify, Apple, Condé Nast  and Estée Lauder. 

Working in our new offices located in Market Harborough your role will be supporting our Marketing Manager and wider management team and will encompass such aspects as; front of house, marketing, social media promotion, organisation of events and interacting with both clients and suppliers. The person we are looking for should be confident, outgoing and able to work on their own initiative with creative flair.  

Main Duties

Duties are hugely varied, the below is a general outline of the key responsibilities.

  • Maintain and update our marketing diary, ensuring all involved are kept up to date and on target

  • Manage, update and grow our social media channels through engaging and informative content

  • Report on social media statistics and trends

  • Run and develop our CRM system

  • Design and distribute traditional marketing materials

  • Organise and manage the marketing server, including our library of images

  • Photography of joinery items both pre and post production

  • Maintain and update our website using Squarespace

  • Create and present monthly reports

Front of house

There are business development aspects to this role, including but not limited to:

  • Answering the phone and front door, shaping our clients impression of the company

  • Greet and host visitors to our showroom

  • Set up and prepare our meeting spaces and reception area to host guests, ensuring that the correct materials are in place and sorting refreshments etc

  • The role requires any person to be adaptable and willing to undertake tasks and jobs as they are deemed necessary, including various business administration tasks.

Key Skills

  • An interest in marketing with a desire to learn the industry in a B2B environment

  • Personable, enthusiastic and confident personality

  • A creative nature - in design, thinking and writing

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferable
